We are seeking a highly motivated and conscientious Apprentice who is interested in working in the Supplier Management Team, in our Distribution Operations business. The successful applicant will be involved with a variety of tasks including reviewing performance reports from suppliers, collating information for internal and external reporting, attending supplier meetings, responding to queries and supporting on different projects and process improvement initiatives.

Supplier Management Team
Distribution Operations is a diverse area to work in, with responsibilities for Client Services, Client Reporting, Fund Data, Fund Technical Accounting and of course, Supplier Management. It is closely linked to other areas of the business, such as Distribution, Investment Operations and the Front Office (Fund Managers).
The Supplier Management team is responsible for ensuring that our service providers offer a high standard of performance for our customers where we outsource the administration of our funds in multiple jurisdictions.
As a Supplier Management Apprentice, you will support the team in ensuring that we have the right level of oversight and governance of our suppliers. You will be fully trained and supported in understanding the lifecycle of outsourced services and how to manage suppliers in accordance with company policy.
Your daily duties will include:
Managing and implementing initiatives that will benefit the overall relationship with suppliers
Conducting reviews of monthly supplier MI and identify any areas of concern or trends
Handling day to day issues as they arise with guidance from Supplier Managers
As a Business Administration Apprentice with BPP, you will undertake the Business Administrator Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship. The apprenticeship will be delivered through a blend of live online learning, pre-recorded lectures, and face to face inductions and masterclasses.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
High level of accuracy and good attention to detail
Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
Basic understanding of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
A proactive team player who is confident about working independently
Logical and analytical approach coupled with intelligence, passion and a drive to learn
The role would ideally be suited to a confident individual with a positive outlook, a desire to learn and with an interest in a career in Operations. The successful applicant should enjoy working as part of a team and be able to manage their time effectively. The applicant would ideally have an inquisitive, can-do attitude and have an efficient approach.
