As well as comprehensive on and off-the-job training and a competitive salary, our Engineering Degree Apprenticeship will give you the experience you need to become a vital part of our future. You'll be exposed to elements across the engineering lifecycle on different placements, so you'll get to experience everything from design and prototyping through to supporting our fleet in service. It's an opportunity to play your own part in creating ever-better solutions. In the design phase, for example, you could contribute to conceptual designs that solve problems at a product system or component level. You can expect to work in Civil Aerospace or Defence as you deliver projects in state-of-the-art environments and learn from some of the most brilliant engineers in the world. What you’ll need
Passionate about engineering, you’ll be analytical, highly motivated and, most importantly, curious about how things work. You’ll also be a real team player, and able to prove it. Beyond that, we’ll want to see numeracy, drive and the ability to learn quickly – all things you’ll have shown through your impressive exam results. You’ll need three A-levels (or equivalent) at grade C or above in Maths and Physics, Chemistry or Engineering, plus one other subject (obtained or predicted). Alternatively, you could have an engineering-focused level 3 extended BTEC at a minimum of MMM. You’ll also need GCSEs (or equivalent) in English Language and Maths at grade C/4 or above.
