In your first year, you’ll gain a strong foundation in the practical skills you need to work on our products in our Apprentice Academy in Derby, or with one of our approved training providers across the UK. Over the following three years, you’ll broaden and deepen your knowledge through a range of attachments within a defined business, working alongside and being supported by some of our top engineers. Along the way, you’ll work towards completing your Apprenticeship framework.
You’ll be assigned a specific role to develop into which could include Fitter, Machinist, Inspector, Fabricator/Welder, or Maintenance/Sheet Metal Worker. You’ll be offered the chance to express a preference at the application stage, but we can’t guarantee you’ll be offered your preference as this will depend on the location you’re recruited to and our business requirements at the time.
