Job Description

Apprenticeships are fast becoming a favourite way to get your career started and due to growth we are currently looking for an Early Careers Apprentice to join our in-house recruitment team based in Newcastle.

What will you be doing?

Primarily working alongside our Early Careers Advisor and the wider graduate team, you will be supporting them to grow our early engagement programmes which include school engagement, early career opportunities and our graduate scheme.  You will be focussed on building key relationships throughout the business, with schools and learning providers alike to ensure our programmes run smoothly and efficiently.

You will be responsible for providing administration support coordinating core activities such as sending out offer paperwork, arranging inductions, diary management and scheduling timetables. There will also be opportunities to get involved in some school presentations and open days throughout the year. 

This exciting role would suit somebody who is looking for business administration experience who has a keen interest in higher education. You'll be enrolled on to a Business Administration programme working towards your Level 3 qualification.

What are we looking for?

You don't need any previous experience in administration however an appetite for learning and a genuine desire to contribute to the growth of the business is key. We are looking for someone with plenty of ambition, a strong team player with excellent organisation skills and is able to deliver first class customer service. Naturally you'll be able to build relationships and have great communication skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines whilst managing a varied workload.

We require a minimum of 5 GCSE's (grade C or equivalent) including Maths and English, excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience with a variety of IT software including, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
