Our Actuaries work closely with the business to better understand the financial impacts and risks that our customers and the business face. They ensure we are in a position to deliver on our promises when the time comes, using maths and statistics to provide business insight. We offer a fast-paced environment, where you’ll be providing actuarial and administrative support. You can expect to be undertaking basic data gathering, analysis and modelling. You’ll also be providing support for a range of actuarial activities, including experience studies, research and model development.

Training to be Provided
As an Actuarial Apprentice with BPP, you will complete the Actuarial Technician Level 4 Higher Apprenticeship. This apprenticeship standard is supported by the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, and on successful completion provides a progression route into study for further actuarial qualifications. The apprenticeship will be completed through a combination of workplace and online study.

Minimum of 112 UCAS points (or equivalent) from 3 A-level subjects excluding General Studies and including minimum B-grade in Mathematics A-Level. Minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade C or above or equivalent qualifications including Maths and English.
