What you’ll be doing
In security, we deal with up to 4,000 cyber-attacks every day. With over 5,500 global customers, our work has a real impact all around the world. You’ll join a Security team that provides the engineering support for the electrical and mechanical power systems to run our large network. You’ll be taught the principles relating to the operation and maintenance of plant and the critical equipment we use, as well as health and safety standards and environmental and regulatory requirements. You’ll also learn a range of engineering theories and principles.

About the apprenticeship you’ll study for
As a Power Engineer in Security, you’ll study for a Level 3 apprenticeship called Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technician.
- Your apprenticeship will last for three years.
- You’ll spend a minimum of 20% of your time learning and studying. You’ll need to complete one “study work” day a week.
