What you’ll be doing
In security, we deal with up to 4,000 cyber-attacks every day. With over 5,500 global customers, our work has a real impact all around the world. We’re looking for people who put customers first, and care about the experience they have with us. In this role, you’ll be supporting some of our many government customers who use our security products, so you’ll be at the cutting edge of technology.
When you join us, we’ll teach you all about our different services, so you’re really prepared to provide a tailored support service to our customers, so you can help pick the right solution for them so you can help pick the right solution for them. Of course, working with customers isn’t always straightforward, and so when things haven’t gone according to plan, you’ll learn to use your judgement and make the right calls for both customers and BT, and when you’ve made a promise to a customer, you’ll always stick to your word.
We want our team to be the very best it can be, so we’re looking for people who can build a personal connection with our customers. Letting them know you understand their problem and that you’ll do your very best to help makes a big difference to customers. About the apprenticeship you’ll study for
As Customer Service Specialist, you’ll study for a Level 2 apprenticeship called Customer Service Practitioner.
- Your apprenticeship will run for 18 months
- You’ll spend a minimum of 20% of your time learning and studying. You’ll need to complete one “study work” day a week.
Completion of this apprenticeship will also make you eligible to join the Institute of Customer Service as an Individual member at Professional Level.
