What you'll be doing
As an Apprentice Data Analyst, you’ll be developing expertise in data mining, looking for trends in performance data, and driving in-depth analysis in support of the Operations teams.
You’ll develop a detailed understanding of mobile network technologies and platforms to enable the extraction and manipulation of key data. You’ll be heavily involved in the analysis of real-time data to enable the identification and resolution of incidents and problems.
Training & Support
Throughout the course of your apprenticeship you’ll gain a wealth of invaluable experience. You’ll also be taught job specific skills such as how to support data-driven decision making, data analysis, statistical targeting solutions, how to identify, collect then migrate data to and from a range of internal and external systems.
You’ll learn how to manipulate and link different data sets and how to interpret and apply the organisation’s data and information security standards, policies and procedures to data management activities. Once you’ve gained sufficient experience you’ll be accountable for informing business activities through the development of customer segmentation, propensity models and insights.
You’ll be taught to use a range of analytical techniques such as data mining, time series forecasting and modelling techniques to identify and predict trends and patterns in data. You’ll also assist with the production of performance dashboards and reports, as well as assist with data quality checking and cleansing.
To join our Apprentice Data Analyst Level 4 programme you’ll need to achieve (or be on course to achieve) two A-Levels with a minimum of C grades ideally in STEM subjects. You’ll also need a minimum of four GCSEs at grades 4-9 (C or above) including English and Maths.
