The minimum academic requirements that all our apprentices and work experience applicants are expected to meet or exceed are:

•A minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade C or above, including Mathematics and English or equivalent

•3 A-levels or equivalent at grade B (predicated or obtained)

Advanced Apprenticeship
Deadline: 25 May 2018 Salary: £18,564 per annum Location: London This is an exciting opportunity to join a truly prestigious corporate law firm, working towards an industry recognised AAT qualification. We are looking for a dynamic individual to work within a busy accounts environment supporting management with the collation, administration and processing of accounts. We are looking to recruit an apprentice to work within either our Tax or Revenue Control teams. You will be required to support management with the collation, administration and processing of accounts. The role requires someone with a strong analytical ability and the drive to help move the business forward. Please see below a summary of the sorts of tasks you could be expected to carry out in each team as an AAT apprentice: Tax: Analyse the accounting ledgers to maximise the tax relief claimed Monitor international tax filings to ensure that worldwide deadlines are met Help with UK and international compliance for the various entities within the Firm Compile information for partners' tax reserve schedules Support the preparation of partner personal tax returns Collate the information to ensure the accuracy of the partners' tax payments made by the firm Review the data provided in relation to short term business visitors Assist with the review of tax implications of secondee arrangements Track home and host country compliance for secondees Draft briefing notes for the Finance Director to cover the tax implications of business operation decisions Research tax rules for new jurisdictions as the Firm expands Support the Firm's relationship with HMRC by responding timeously to queries raised Revenue Control: Billing: Assist with bill processing at the month end Ensure that all bills are sent out as soon as possible after they have been processed Write off disbursements and WIP Have an awareness of client terms particularly in relation to Billing, Reporting, Value Accounts Ensure that when a Lawyer leaves the Firm, their client (in respect of a Partner) and matter roles are re-allocated in a timely manner and in accordance with the Firm's protocols Ad hoc duties as required Credit Control: Producing copy invoices Completing vendor forms Updating contact details in Aderant Collections Chasing small value accounts Sending reminder letters/statements Setting up a client extended payment terms document Ad hoc administrative duties

We are looking to recruit an apprentice to work within our Accounts Payable, Travel & Expenses or Revenue Control team. Within each role, you will be required to support management with the collation, administering and processing of accounts.
